Celebrating India’s 70 years of independence, the British Film Institute will screen several Indian films on its’India on Film’program from April 24th, which also will have a special screening of SS Rajamouli’s epic fantasy drama Baahubali : The Conclusion.
According to reports, Queen Elizabeth II and Prime Minister Narendra Modi are likely to attend the event. However, we await an official confirmation regarding the same.
When Baahubali hit the screens in 2015, it
won many international awards for its scale and visual experience. It also won the National Award for Best Feature Film. The much-anticipated sequel, which is currently in its post-production stage, will have its worldwide released on April 28.
Interestingly, SS Rajamouli, in an interview to a vernacular channel said that the war scene between Baahubali and Bhallala Deva is the highlight of the film.
However, contrary to earlier reports, Rajamouli, confirmed that Baahubali 3 is not on the cards. The Eega director also assured that the theatrical trailer of the film will be out by mid- March.
Baahubali : The Beginning, which hit the screens in 2015, was highly successful and
grossed Rs 600 crore worldwide.
Speaking at the India Today Conclave South
2017, SS Rajamouli revealed that Baahubali 2 would be bigger and better than Baahubali.
